WHO WE ARE
"Plegma", a civil non-profit organization, was founded in February of 2014. Based on the island of Skopelos, it engages in a range of cultural activities throughout Greece and Europe.
Its statutory purposes include:

Plegma consists of an extensive network of accomplished associates and volunteers.
Our mission involves the planning and implementation of cultural actions, accessible to all members of the population, with no age, educational, geographical, racial or religious restrictions, thus supporting and reinforcing cultural policy at a local and country-wide level.
Our goal is to engage the public, enabling citizens to become actively involved in cultural events, while cultivating a spirit of collaboration, forming cultural networks, exchanging know-how and providing continuous training to cultural managers.
MISSION
AWARDS
The Folklore Dance Festival "Diamantis Palaiologos" organised by Plegma won the Silver award as a best practice in the "Culture" category of the Best City Awards 2016 and the SILVER award in the "Festival" category of the Best Tourism Awards 2017.
It was also a candidate for the following awards:
EILEEN Award 2016 and ECTN Award 2016 “Intangible Heritage Tourism”
Plegma actively participates in scientific conferences, scientific committees, working groups and cultural networks in Greece and abroad.
